Redwood Mountain Arts takes its name from the mountain which is my home on the very northern edge of Sonoma County. Throughout my life, I have been drawn to the creative process and have worked in a variety of mediums - from ceramics to lapidary to the chemistry and art of soapmaking. During my early career in information technology, I continued creating and discovering. I could see the connecting threads of nature and science woven throughout my interests and art, but it was not until I returned to fused glass that I feel I found my preferred medium.

Working from my studio in an old barn on the property, I draw inspiration from the surrounding redwood forest, from the coastline and geology of Sonoma County, and from the colors and landscapes I see here in California. My work frequently explores the liminal spaces between land, water and sky.
