Privacy policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

I run Redwood Mountain Arts and its website, redwoodmountainarts.com. The site shows my work and where to find me at shows; nothing is sold through it. This policy explains what information the site collects, how I use it, and your choices.

Information I collect

  • What you send me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and message. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the site collects technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. This is done through cookies and similar technologies run by Shopify, my website host.

I do not collect payment information, and I do not offer customer accounts.

How I use it

I use what you send to read and answer your message. I use visit information to keep the site running, secure and free of spam, and to understand in general terms how it's used. I do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.

Who else receives it

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for targeted advertising. It passes through, or is held by, these service providers:

  • Shopify, which hosts the site, processes contact-form submissions and runs its standard site analytics. Shopify's own use of this data is covered by the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
  • hCaptcha, a spam-prevention service on the contact form, which may collect information about your device and browser to check that you're a person.
  • My email provider, which stores the messages I send and receive.

Apart from these, I do not allow other companies to collect information about your activity on my site. Links to my Instagram and Facebook pages take you to sites run by Meta, which have their own privacy policies.

I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. The site does not currently change how it behaves in response to that signal. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Your choices

You can email me to ask what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. I'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I'll delete it.

How long I keep it

I keep messages as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then delete them.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If the change is significant, I'll also note it on the site.
